Soft Plastics
Soft plastic lures definitely play a key role in bass fishing. They can be used all season for Florida bass fishing, and the presentation possibilities are endless. In Florida the primary plastics used take the shape of worms, lizards, frogs, and minnows. Plastic worms are absolutely a primary lure for bass fishermen. Worms can almost always produce when other lures can not. Some plastic worms that I have had success with include
Zoom – Bubblegum, Junebug, Watermelon
Kinami – Baby Bass, Junebug
Yamamoto – Pink (in stained water)
